How is a move priced?
Local moves are hourly with the truck and equipment included; long-distance is a written binding estimate based on weight and distance. Either way you get the number in writing before move day.
Do you take a deposit?
Not for local moves. Long-distance books with a small deposit that comes straight off the final bill, and it is refundable up to 72 hours out.
Are my things insured?
Basic liability is included by law. Full-value protection is available and we will explain plainly what each one actually pays if something breaks.
Is there anything you will not move?
Hazardous materials, propane, ammunition and open food. Plants and pets we can advise on but do not transport.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks in normal months, and four to six for month-end in summer. If you are in a hurry, call — we hold slots for short-notice moves.
